and cross-roll the area to
ensure even coverage.

With alkyd paint, work
across the width of the

ceiling to avoid lap marks. -

Brush on a strip of paint 2’ or
3’ wide at one end, then
apply other strips of’ the
same width with a roller,
working from unpainted
painted area. At the far of
the room, again use a brush
to paint a narrow strip,
working from the dry area
into the wet.

For walls, brush:in a strip
of paint around the wall
edges. Fill in the centre by
rolling paint onto the wall in
a “W” formation.’ Roll your
first stroke up and work
from dry to wet. The zig-zag
pattern should be smoothed
