Two North Shore organizations, the North Shore YMCA and the North Shore ‘Neighbourhood House, can help. ° Both are offering summer, day camp, and Neigh- bourhood House is also offering summer day care. The ‘Y's Adventure. Day Camps aro for children aged 6 to 12. Children are given the opportunity to learn and grow in an outdoor ‘setting. © Activities included in the program are. hiking, swimming, nature lore, arts and crafts, games, outdoor skills and an overnight camping expedition § to Hollyburn Mountain. The program runs on a weekly basis, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ‘daily from June 29 to. ‘August 21. There are: two. camps, one at Centre and Boundary School. The two centres are run by fully qualified staff and are the Child Care Facilities Licensing Board.
