One of the key people
involved in Park Royal's
massive revitalization
program is Colin Spicer,
Director of Shopping
Centres for Th: Larco
Group of Companies.

the shopping centre.

South Mall to the North

Onthe upper floor, wellknown
sporting goods retailer Hogarth’'s
Sport Chek will take up half the
space (about 2 1,000 square feet).

Spicer is busy negotiaung witha
number of other possible retailers
for the balance of the space.
Hogarth’s Sport Chek has scheduled
alate November opening as well.

One of the really exciting future
Changes to the South Mall upper
level is the new Fashion Galleria,
10 be located between Wear Else?
and Eaton's. Spicer told Park Royal
Today “Basically we see the
Fashion Galleria as an opportunity
to revitalize this part of the shopping
centre into a major highend fashion
arca with some very good quality
fashion tenants already in place.”

Purting together the Fashion
Galleria involves more than placing
lenanis and Spicer has been keep-
ing the planners and architects busy.
“There will bc major changes to the
ceilings incorporating skylights and
to the flooring with granite and
marble tiling. In addition, the lighting.
and storefronts will be. changed and °
an elevator will be installed at the
west end of the Galleria.’

Replacing the South Mall liquor .
store anda portion of Marks and
Spencer will be Park Royal's new
“food court” and to quote Spicer it
will feature “good food..fast!” The
food court will include 10 food |
outlets and 350 comfortable seats
and while there are a number of
restaurants at Park Royal, there has.
never been a convenient “fast food”
