This means showing
affection to their children,

and listening to their chil-
dren and encouraging them
to express themselves, read-
ing to them and taking an
interest in their school work,
and being consistent at set-
ting limits for behaviour.

trist specializing in family
matters, at the three-day
event as she stimulates indi-
vidual thinking while dealing
with parenting topics such as
lag-team parenting = and
issues that affect our atti-
tudes and ability to parent.

Among other things, she
will show how to get fathers
more involved in their chil-
dren’s lives with the idea that
a father’s involvement is an
important influence at every
stage of child development.
Dr. Taylor will be appearing
daily at 2:30-3 p.m. at the
Interactive Workshops Area.

- The Parents & Kids Show
opens Friday, Nov. 5 at 10
a.m. through to 6 p.m. The
doors will open again on
Saturday Nov. 6 from 10
am. to 6 p.m. and on
Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5
p.m.

Admission is $7 for
adults; $5 for seniors (55+)
and youths (13-18); and
children 12 and under get in
free when accompanied by
an adult.
