Fathers contribute to their children’s healthy development by being active- ly involved in their daily lives. This means showing affection to their children, treating their children’s mother with respect, talking and listening to their chil- dren and encouraging them to express themselves, read- ing to them and taking an interest in their school work, and being consistent at set- ting limits for behaviour. “Being a parent is the most important job that you will ever have,” Taylor, MD. - “Yer. it is the one that we are least trained for. Dr. Taylor will be appearing daily at 2:30-3 p.m. at the Interactive Workshops Area. - The Parents & Kids Show opens Friday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m. through to 6 p.m. The doors will open again on Saturday Nov. 6 from 10 am. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults; $5 for seniors (55+) and youths (13-18); and children 12 and under get in free when accompanied by an adult.
