A man told police on
Jan. 12 that the hedge
trimmer and red tooi
box he was carrying
were his.

Burt pelice became suspi-
cious after noticing a tag on
the hedge trimmer that stated
“property of the City. of
North Vancouver.”

The man was scen walking
in the 400-block of Mahon
Avenue with the items when
stopped bv a Mounti¢ on rou-
tine patrol. Police say the man
indicated he planned to pawn
the items.

George, 30, of North
Vancouver, is charged with
possessing stolen property.
