accounts from early pio-
neers who recall living
in Moodyville at the
turn of the century.

unnamed, undated
clipping from the North
Vancouver Museum and
Archives relates the experience
of pioneer J. Roger Burnes
who attended ~Moodvville
School in 1898.

He describes what he
remembers of the idyllic lite in
the picturesque little settlement
set against the wooded hillside,
overlooking Burrard Inlet. The
largest steam mil! was built at
the foot of the steep bluff. It
was three hundred feet long,
