The next day the 40-year old heroin addict was stopped in West Vancouver by a cop. fr turned out Prine had outstanding charges in North Vancouver. A few days later Prine pleaded guilty to the charges: shoplifting a $179 bread maker from Wal-Mart in Capilano sal) on June 1, and failing to go to court on Aug. 13. North Vancouver provin- cial court Judge Doug Moss gave Prine a break. Prine received a concurrent six- month conditional sentence. Prine was not as lucky on Nov. 13 before Judge J.-E. Godfrey in North Vancouver provincial court. Prine was jailed 30 days after pleading guilty to steal- ing merchandise from West Van's London Drugs on Sept. 27, the day after he was first given a conditional sen- tence.
