Another government report, the Final Report and National Action Plan of the Canadian Panel on Violence Against Women released fast summer, con- tained nearly 500 recommendations for preventive action, We have the statistics and we have ideas for solutions, so what’s next? In other words, now that the reports are in, when are we going (o see some action? We need more funding for women's shelters. We need stronger laws against violence and abuse. We need to change attitudes, We need zero tolerance for violence against women, If you'd like to help, write letters. Write to your MLA. Write to Jean Ciretien. Pressure the government to establish a national action pian to deal with violence against women.
