his guardian angel, Clarence
(Hensy Travers) what life in his
home town would have been like
if he hadn‘t been born. Great
scenes like Stewart's and Donna
Reed’s wedding night or Zulu’s
petals remain timeless.

A Christmas Carol (United Home

- The best adaptation of Dickens’
classic is this 1951 British version
starring Alistair Sim. Moody at-
mosphere and humor complement
the brilliant turn by Sim as he
changes fram humbug to kumani-
tarian one spirited Christmas Eve.
