C2 - Wednesday, March 28, 1984 - North Shore News N.SHORE RECYCLING Newspaper collecting Bounding at Griffin IN COOPERATION with the municipalities of West Vancouver and North Van- couver District, International Paper Industries will distribute a plastic receptacle to each household in West Vancouver and North Van- couver District for newspaper collection, starting April 9. A reprensentative will ring your door bell when deliver- ing the receptacle to explain — in, the receptacle will be left at your mail box for your use storage. This receptacle is designed to do a number of things, in particular to help you store your newspaper neatly in the home or garage, and place at curbside early in the morning on your regular garbage day. Crews will empty the “receptable and return it for your re-use. This receptacle eliminates the need for tying and cardbdard boxes. The plastic receptacle has been designed to contain ap- proximately 28 Ibs. of which, for the average household, would be a month’s supply. You will find information printed on for newspaper recycling only, for no other purpose. The_ receptacle has other which not only is aesthetical- ly pleasing, but it makes easy identification for our truck crews to distinguish the recyclable newspaper from all other household disposables.
