Recreation Commission,
said the joint application

would almost certainly be
accepted.

“If the three were to apply
jointly they (the games)
would be, and very happily
be, located on the North
Shore,” Payne told his

council.

Any costs for the stadium
would be divided between
the three governments on
the basis of population,
which would mean the
District would pay half the
costs and the City and West
Vancouver would pay 25 per
cent each, he said.
