Al2 - Sanday News, August 23, 1981 Feds give PM $1,500 funding North Vancouver's Presentation House is one of five Greater Yancouver groups to receive a grant under the federal govern- ment’s Cultural Initiatives Program. The $15,000 grant an- nounced by Senator Ray Perrault is to assist the North Van cultural centre in “management develop- ment.” The federal program -- set up to assist arts and cultural organizations and activities across Canada -- is operated by the Department of Communications. It is financed through revenues accruing to Ottawa under the 1980 ‘federal- provincial lotteries agreement. The other four Greater Vancouver organizations sharing a total funding of $70,000 are the Arts Club Theatre, Vancouver East Cultural Centre, the Western Front Society and the Paula Ross Dance Society.
