B.C.’s TB Veterans
Association has

| donated $30,000 to
Lions Gate Hospital.

The money will purchase
a pulmonary’ function sys-
tem for the Respiratory
Therapy Department and
Pulmonary Function
Laboratory.

Said respirologist Dr.
Richard Cohen, “This sys-
tem will enable us to contun-
ue to provide state of the art
pulmonary diagnostic test
ing.”

The TB Vers keytag pre-
gram began in 1945 when
Veterans returning from the
Second World War came up.
with the idca as a means of
employing ex-servicemen
with tuberculosis.

The association — mails
more than one million indi-
vidually-numbered  kevtags
to B.C. drivers each year.

funding constraints and the
pressures on hospital bud-
gets, this funding from TR
Vets is very welcome
indeed,” said Sheilah Grant,
