Czajkowski chronicled her epic
achievement of building her wilder-
ness cabin through letters to Peter
Gzowski on CBC's’ Morningside
during the mid-1980s. When she
‘found -her site deep in the Coast
mountains, 40 kilometres (25
miles) from the nearest road and
neighbor. she had very littie experi-
ence of building. The site was.
