Community kitchen opens new doors COMMUNITY KITCHEN OPEN HOUSE... The North Shore Harvest is holding a grand opening of their new communlTy kitchen program from noon lo 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, The public is welcome to drop-in and have a look around the new facility. North Vancouver Mayor Jack Loucks will officially open the facility during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. If you do come by, the kitchen is accepting donations (from spices to bulk foods, cutlery to pots, blenders to microwaves) to kick: off the community kitchen. FAMILY FUN RUN... The Power Smart Family Fun Run will take place at 8 a.m, on Sunday, June 26, at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver, Proceeds will go to the Commonwealth Games North Shore Legacy Fund.
