<@ Ministry of Highways:
Cassiar St.: Effective Dec. 18 a
new Trans Canada Highway on

ramp will be opened carrying
westbound traffic and eastbound
First Ave. traffic northbound onto
the Trans Canada Highway. This
new ramp will replace the north-
bound portion of the Rupert
diversion which is scheduled to
close at the same time.

Squamish Highway: Motorists are
reminded to usé good winter. tires,
carry chains and watch for
maintenance crews plowing and
sanding.

Lions Gate Bridge: There will be
single lane, alternating traffic on
the Lions Gate Bridge from Nov.
24 to Dec. 20 from 11:30 p.m. to
5 a.m. Sundays through Thurs-
days for replacement of the ex-
pansion joints on the bridge.
