on June 16.

$500 and put on probation for
one vear after the  32-vear-old
North Vancouver mun pleaded
guilty to assaulting a woman in
connection with May 7 incident.
Before Judge 3.L. Davies in North
Vancouver provincial court on
Aug. 13:

Darren Dennis Hope received a
suspended sentence and was put
on probation for two years after
the 24-year-old North Vancouver
man pleaded guilty to assaulting a
woman in connection with a July
7 incident.

As a condition of probation,
Hope was ordered to stay outside
a one-block radius of the victim's
residence.

Before Judge §.L. McCarthy in
North Vancouver provincial court
on Aug. 14:

Jason Robert Chaney received a
suspended sentence and was put
on probation for one year after
the 22-year-old North Vancouver
man pleaded guilty to mischief
under $1,000 in connection with a
July 14 incident when Chaney
wilfully caused damage to a car
door and sideview mirrors.

Chaney was also ordered to pay
the complainant $100 and the In-
surance Corporation of B.C.
$521.93.

$560 after the 31-year-old man
pleaded guilty to driving without
due care and attention on April 13
in the Clinton area.
