NOW that the kids are
back in school, many
moms may find they
want to take care of
themselves for a
change.

For, them, and for other
women on the North Shore,
a mid-month class teaching
them how to care for their
spiritual side may be just the
thing.

As part of its monthly
Woinen’s Wednesday work-
shop, series, the North Shore
Women’s Centre is present-
ing a workshop on “creating
your own healing rituals”
with Nancy Ford,

The aim of the workshop
is to learn how to create and
perform your own rituals for

growth, healing, ‘change,
empowerment, and spiritual-
ity.

Participants will» be
encouraged to use their
imagination and creativin.

Ford is a certified coun-
sellor and has preseated
numerous workshops
through her association with
Chesterfield House and
North Shore
Neighbourhood House. She
‘will Jead and facilitate the
discussion to be held on.
Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7:30
p.m. at 3093 Lonsdale Ave.
in North Vancouver.

Admission is $3 for non-
members and free for mem-
bers.

It’s also free for those
who can’t afford it.
