Locals swim to wins

NORTH SHORE swimmers were
out in full force at the Vancouver
Regional “‘A” and ‘‘B”’ finals.

The Aug. 11 finals held at the
North Shore Winter Club included
the -North Shore Winter Ciub
Martins, North Vancouver Crais-
ers, Vancouver Vikings and the
Squamish Aquatic Club.

the appcintment of Jas Murray as Man-
ager of the Lynn Valley McDonald! sin
North Vancouver.

Jas, 27, began her McDonald's
career in Coquitlam in 1985 as a
manager trainee at the North Road
restaurant. A native of Ladysmith on
Vancouver Island, Jas progressed to
2nd and then Ist Assistant Manager,
working in several Greater Vancouver
McDonalds.

She was Ist Assistant Manager at
the Kingsway McDonald's in Vancouver
immediately before her appointment
as manager at Lynn Valley.
