Vahid Davoodi, 36, of
North Vancouver, received
nine months’ probation after
he was found guilty of stealing
merchandise belonging to
London Drugs in West
Vancouver.

Davoodi was required to
perform 30 hours of commu-
nity work service,

A Farsi interpreter was
required for court.

Before Judge Ian Walker
in West Vancouver provin-
cial court on May 21:

Trevor Glenn. Lagler, 30,
of North Vancouver, received
12 months’ probation after he
pleaded guilty to stealing mer-
chandise belonging to
London Drugs on April 20 in
West Vancouver.

Lagler was required to per-
form 75 hours of community
work service,

to assault causing bodily harm
of another man on the same
day, but instead pleaded guilty
to the lesser or included
offence of assault.

Newman was required to
pay $150 restitution.
