Lea Foli, Campbell Trowsdale, violins, Gerald Stanick, viola and Anthony Elliott, cello, will per- 7 form a Mozart string quartet, 8 Quincy Porter's String Quartet #3 : together with Kodaly’s Duet for violin and Cello and Beethoven's String Trio Opus No. 3. Foli is now completing his 17th season as concert-master of the Minnesota Orchestra. Elliott, from 1978 to 1982 prin- cipal cellist of the Vancouver oe Symphony, is now associate Pro- sy fessor of Cello at Western : Michigan University. They join well-known Van- couver musicians. . Stanick and Trowsdale are a4 well-known Vancouver musicians. : The ensemble has performed together on many occasions and in 1984 took part in CBC Music of the Americas heard on CBC Arts National and Pacific Soundscape. This is the fourth season the ensemble has performed in the West Vancouver Community Arts Council Chamber Music Series.
