Three and a half years ago John and Dianne bought the Deep Cove property which had small a cottage on it. Keeping in mind their ideas of lots of light and view- oriented rooms, they laid out the basic design. John and Dianne were able to stay with friends while the old building was torn down and the new one built. With such an_ unusual house and a steep lot, there were a number. of engineering problems to overcome such as drainage and installing round drywall for the spiral staircase. Eventually these problems were licked resulting in a very unique home. The house has three bedrooms, two fireplaces, three baths, two decks, one atrium, and a patio. The kitchen has glass cabinets to allow more hight in the kitchen. The rosewood bar off the living room has gold faucets and impeccable workmanship. High fidelity sounds can be heard throughout the house on the 35 built-in) speakers.
