West Van council received a presentation Monday by North Van- couver resident Marc Howard, chairman of the One-man Third Crossing Committee. Howard called for a strong North Shore stand on the Greater Vancouver Regional District light rapid transit proposal. at $67.1 billion. tried’. “Nothing is planned in this half-billion proposal for the North Shore and the LRT proposal won't work with our present facilities,” Howard emphasized.
