dom heard Field “Mass, by
Bohuslav Martinu.

Performances are Nov. 11,
at noon at West Vancouver
United Church and 8 p.m. at
Vancouver’s Christe Church
Cathedral on Burrard Street.

Written in Paris following
the outbreak of the Second
World War, the Field Mass
expresses in musical terms
