NV man jailed for theft

A NORTH Vancouver man was
sentenced to one month in jail
Nov. 24 in North Vancouver pro-
vincial court after he pleaded guil-
ty toa theft charge.

Christopher George, 21, pleaded
guilty to one count of theft under

$1,000 in connection with a Sept.
27 theft of merchandise from Sears
in North Vancouver.

Appearing before Judge J.D.
Layton, George is to serve his jail
term concurrently with a previous
sentence he is now serving.
