Canyon Heights Elementary
School will provide you with a
chance to bid on a 1990 Honda
Accord LX and enjoy an evening
of Oktober festivities at the same
time.

The North Vancouver elemen-
tary school is hosting an
Oktoberfest auction fundraiser on
Saturday, Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in
the Handsworth School gym-
nasium.

The evening will include live
entertainment, refreshments and a
chance to bid on an array of goods
and services provided by local
merchants and the community.

Examples of iterns to be auc-
tioned include the Honda, courtesy
of Happy Honda, a ski-chalet
weekend, a hand-Knit sweater,
dance lessons and computer in-
struction.

Tickets to Oktoberfest are $5
and include ene drink, a snack, the
auction catalogue and a bidding

paddle. Admission is limited.

Proceeds from the auction will
go toward playground improve-
ment and equipment.
