Learn massage
at workshops

TREAT YOURSELF to a day of
relaxation.

In a one day _ reflexology
workshop you can learn to relieve
stress and improve circulation by
stimulating specific points on your
feet.

The workshop will be held Sat.,
July 19 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
at the Ron Andrews Community
Centre.

A series of one hour workshops
to teach parents the ancient art of
baby massage, will also be offered.

This practice not only increases
bonding between you and your in-
fant, but stimulates the baby’s cir-
culation, aids digestion, maintains
suppleness and promotes a sound
and restful sleep.

Sessions run from 10:30 a.m. to
11:30 a.m. on Tues., July 15, Sat.,
July 26, Sat., August 9, and Fri.,
August 15. The fee for each indi-
vidual session is $5.00.

YMCA SUMMER PROGRAM

Say ‘howdy’ te camp

THE YMCA is currently accepting
registrations for its summer Camp
Howdy.

The camp is situated on the In-
dian Arm of Burrard Inlet.

The program is designed for
boys and girls aged six to 15.

The program is fast paced and
action packed. Activities include
hiking, arts & crafts, canoeing,
campfires, rowboating, archery,
swimming and special events.

Camp also offers time for quiet
reflection, individual activities, rest
and personal growth discussions.

The camp’s program 1s divided
into four units specifically design-
ed for children of the same age
group and abilities.

Camp Howdy offers seven,
seven-day sessions, one five-day
session and one 14 day leadership
session.

Facilities include a lodge that
houses the kitchen, dining hall,
and recreation area, camper
cabins, health centre, waterfront
and a 75 acre campus.
