Firefighters fry Buzzards

FIREFIGHTERS and) Canadians
advanced to the (wo-game, total
goals final of the North Shore
Senior Hockey League plavoff
round with wins over the Old Buz-
zards and the Drillers recently.

The Firefighters opened a 2-0
first-period fead against the Buz-
zards on goals by Fred Baines and
Mike Haines.

Ross Miller brought

the Buz-

vards within one before the period
ended.

In the second, the Buzzards took
flight and completely outplayed
the Firemen. They took a two-goal
lead on markers by Doug Ireland
and two by Colin Wykes.
