could work equally well for
understated holiday glamor.

Quant offers advice on choos-
ing colors for different skin
tones, including Asian. There are
tips on skin care and body toning
and some general words of wis-
dom,

“Style in makeup is something
to explore,” writes Quant. “Try
not to sce your makeup as a form
of camouflage; instead, use itas a
way to bring out the best in your
face and even as a way of showing
another side of your personality,

The North Vancouver Christmas Bureau is looking for families, individuals, community
groups, office groups and others to Adopt-A-Family (or individual) in need this Christmas.
in 1995, with the support of those who adopted a family, 938 individuals are matched
with donors who can choose to remain anonymous as well.
In an effort to provide consistency donors are asked to supply a small gift and a $50.00
haliday food certificate redeernable at a North Shore grocery store for each adopted family
member. This allows the recipients to accommodate individual dietary needs, aliergies,
extra baby foods, etc. Gift suggestions are provided to make shopping for your hamper

practical and fun.

Donors are asked to bring their finished hampers to the Lucas Centre, 2132 Hamilto
Street, North Vancouver on December 9 or 10 between

10 am and 8 pm.

This is a wonderful opportunity for you to share at a very special time of year.
We welcome and encourage you to take part in this North Shore tradition.

There is one criticism, howey-
er.

The book reads a bit like an
advertisement.since all products
and colors are from Quant’s line
of cosmetics. But then again,
that’s something Crawford docs-
n’t have -— yet.
