IT is an annual event inspired by a true Canadian hero.
Terry Fox passed the fundraising baton to Canadians
nearly two decades ago. ‘To his credit and theirs, rnit-
lions of folks inspired by Terry's dream of finding a cure
for cancer, continue to meet once a year for the ‘Terry
Fox Run. The local version of the matathon took place
Sept. 22 at Ambleside Park. About 200 participants
including 35 volunteers gathered to take part in the
fundraising 10-4m zi The 16th-annual event was a
great photo sheot ane it was fur to participate in the run.
