Lions Sign

offensive lineman

The B.C. Lions have
announced the signing of
offensive guard Kermit Pace
and offensive tackle Tom
Rushing.

Pace, who signed a two
year pact, attended Cal State
Nortl{ridge where he played
at both the centre and of-
fensiye tackle positions.

At six foot two, 248
pounds, Pace is known as an
all round athlete, and now

resides. in Downey,
California.

Rushing, a graduate of
Florida State, signed a one
year agreement.

Standing 6 foot four, 260
pounds, Rushing captained
his high school, junior
college, and Florida State
football teams.

After graduation, Rushing
spent the 1978 season with
the Shreveport Steamers.
