courses in heritage conservation.
These courses are designed for
the general public, city planners,
architects, drafters, designers and
others involved or interested in the
conservation of heritage buildings.
During the spring term the fol-
lowing two courses will be offered.
Introduction to Architectural
Heritage introduces the importance
of heritage conservation, the ter-
minology and the motivation for
authenticity. Students will learn
about social, cultural and econom-
ic influences on Canadian architec-

present a seminar on buying a
condominium at the West Van-
couver Memorial Library.

The speaker will explain some of
the pros and cons of condominium
ownership and discuss some ques-
tions potential condominium
owners should ask before signing
on the dotted line.

The seminar will be held Mon-
day, April 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. in
the Seminar Room.
