WATER CONSUMPTION increased marginally on
the North Shore in [987,

According to figures released recently by the
Creater Vancouver Regional District, North Van-
couver City’s water consumption increased by .@ pet
cent over J986's consumption to 8.8 billion litres in
1987,

North Vancouver District residents consumed 20.7
illion ditres of water in 1987, a 2.18 per cent increase
over 1986,

Thirsts in West Vancouver jumped the most on the
North Shore. Phe municipality’s residents consumed
