PRESENTATION HOUSE has a new managing director. The board of trustees of Pres- entation House has appointed Kathleen Stringer as managing director, Stringer brings a combination of artistic background anc ad- ministrative skill to this position. Brought up on the North Shore, © she attended Carson Graham, Capilano College and UBC, before working for the B.C. Telephone Co. and the Amalgamated Con- struction Association of B.C. She then spent seven years in eastérn Canada, during which time she worked for Bell Canada as a project administrator and attended the National Theatre School in Montreal. Following this, she spent two years as a working ac- tress in Montreal and Ottawa, do- ing radio, television and stage, Stringer is delighted to be back on the North Shore and to have the opportunity to make an artistic contribution to the community in which she grew up.
