Dundarave
revitalization

THE DUNDARAVE
Revitalization plan has
completed its first hurdle.

It has been approved by the
members of the Dundarave
Business Association.

The coneept plan developed by
architect Karl Gustavson has now
been referred to West) Vancouver
District. staff for comment. Ap-
proval will then be sought from the
Advisory Design Panel, the Parks
and Recreation Advisory Comunis-
sion and district council, followed
by the Ministry of Municipal Af-
fairs.

The project, estimated to cost

$496,922, willinelude new concrete

modate the handicapped, planters

wall dights, a gateway sigui, bus
stop enclosures, a drinking foun
tain, landscaping and many other
improvements,

78 per cent of the cost, utidzing a
subsidized loan available trom: the
B.C. government's Revitalizanon
Program, The District. of West
Vancouver will pick up the remain.
