A 15-YEAR-OLD North
Vancouver boy suffered a
bloody nose and_ facial
bruises when he was pun-
ched and robbed of his
$1,500 bicycle.

The youth was
south on Mahon
Queens Tuesday.

As he pedalled by, an
older youth walking on the
sidewalk punched him once
in the face, knocking him

While the dazed youth lay
on the sidewalk, the older
youth, about 17 according to
pohce, hopped on the bicycle
and rode away.

Police are looking for the
bike, a re-built Elan = 12-
speed and the teenager who
stole it described only as
about 17 years of age and

jacket and running shoes.
