Vancouver near the golf
course. It has a peek-a-boo
view of the ocean, which is
just across the street. Down
the road a short way is the
beautiful beach and park
known as Larsen Bay and is

Built around 1962 b
Thompson Berwick Pratt and
partners, the house had a fire
in December 1973 and was
completely rebuilt in 1974,

The house, which is on the
market at present, has about
3,000 square feet and sits on
three quarters of an acre of
forested land with beautiful
arbutus and firs.

Inside the four bedroom
home, there is a very large
family room with a glassed in
fireplace. There is also a
separate guest suite or maid’s
quarters which is complete
with its own entrance, bath
and kitchen.

Being near many trees, the
house was carefully planned
so each room takes maximum
advantage of the sun.

There are three baths, the
master bedroom bath is done
in Trojan marble.

Of course, there ts a formal
living room with a floor to
ceiling brick fireplace. The
double garage has a 640
square foot sundeck on top.

numerous skylights, thermo-
giazing throughout, and
there are cven fluorescent
lights inside the skylights for
night time.
